This website was created in a fit of spontaneous outrage at Bush’s criminal incompetence.

The surest way to kick these hacks out of office is to surround them with proof of their failure: survivors of Katrina.
Those betrayed Americans are owed a city in the seat of Bush’s power.
I bounced the idea* of Bushville off a few survivors on DU. The two that responded were wildly enthusiastic, but they were busy helping others and putting together their lives.
So I took the vision of Bushville as my holy mission and ran with it. Set up this website. Got help from people to discuss and to circulate the word. Spent days emailing and tweaking the website and seething with anger at Bush’s dereliction.
www.bushville.org is mostly me and my outrage and my laptop and my passion. Any people who were misled and believed that this website meant that there was an organization, I apologize to. I tried to highlight the fact that Bushville was a mission repeatedly on the main page and in these notes.
I want to donate the site to an effective activist group of Katrina survivors.
My aim throughout this piece of performance activism was to

them get why
One puzzled poster on a website said “It was an odd kind of hoax, but it got me out on the Mall and I met people who wanted change.” It was never a hoax. I tried to be absolutely honest. That single comment means this website succeeded.
I challenge other resistance activists to accomplish bold things quickly. You don’t need to be as rude as I am but don’t be afraid to stick your neck out and embarrass yourself.
Established web forums may not be nimble enough to act quickly. Don’t be afraid to raise a hullabaloo.
Rant:
We’ve got to remove Bush ASAP through impeachment or resignation.
The Democrats are timid. The press will soon hunger again for the shit that flows from Rove’s anus: Scott McClellan’s mouth.
It’s up to us, people. We’ve got to remove Bush before he’s had 3 more years to bleed us.
Move quickly, people. Bush’s government is dangerous to everyone on Earth.
Bush is a vile concoction of Tammany Hall, Baghdad Bob, and Fred Phelps.
He still clutches the tarnished title of President of The United States, but he is not our leader.
